EU Projects & Research Partnerships

We join EU consortia and research projects as the technical partner for artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analysis. We can join at the proposal stage, where we write the AI/ML parts as a partner, or in a project that is already running. Registered in the EU Funding & Tenders Portal (PIC 868170177).

Where we can help

  • Your consortium needs an SME partner that can take on AI, machine-learning or data-analysis tasks.
  • Your proposal needs a partner who can write and then deliver a convincing AI/ML methodology, work plan and risk analysis.
  • Your running project needs AI, machine-learning or data-analysis capacity, for example to take over the tasks of a departing partner.
  • Your project needs reproducible analysis that holds up to peer review.

Service packages

Partner from the proposal stage

We join your consortium as a partner and write the AI/ML parts of the proposal as our contribution. If the project is funded, we deliver them.

What you get

  • AI/ML methodology and state of the art for the proposal
  • Work-package description with tasks, deliverables and milestones for the AI/ML parts
  • Risk analysis and mitigation for the AI/ML work
  • Effort and budget estimate for our part
  • Revisions with the coordinator until submission
  • If funded: the machine-learning, data-analysis and software tasks, reporting and dissemination

Typical durationFrom the proposal to the end of the project (ideally starting at least 4 weeks before the deadline)

Paid from the project budget

What we need from you
  • The call or topic ID and the proposal deadline
  • The concept note or proposal draft and the list of partners
  • A written agreement that we join the proposal and the project as a partner (beneficiary)

Partner in a running project

We join a project that has already started, when it needs AI, machine-learning or data-analysis capacity.

What you get

  • A written agreement on our responsibilities, deliverables and deadlines before we join
  • Machine-learning, data-analysis and software tasks within the project
  • Taking over tasks and deliverables of a departing partner, where needed
  • Participation in reporting and dissemination

Typical durationFor the remaining duration of the project

Paid from the project budget

What we need from you
  • The project acronym and the relevant parts of the grant agreement (description of the action)
  • The tasks and deliverables we would take on, and the work already done on them
  • The remaining timeline, the deadlines and the budget (person-months) for our part
  • The way we join: a grant amendment as a new beneficiary, or subcontracting where the grant allows

Durations count from the day we receive the data or content, after the contract is signed and the first payment is made.

Roles we can take in a consortium

  • Writing the AI / machine-learning parts of the proposal, as a partner
  • Work-package lead or contributor for AI / machine learning
  • Data analysis and data management
  • Development of prototypes and data pipelines
  • Pilot support and validation

Frequently asked questions

Can Synapse Flow Solutions join our Horizon Europe consortium?

Yes. We are registered in the EU Funding & Tenders Portal with PIC 868170177 and can take on machine-learning, data-analysis and software tasks. Send us the call or topic ID and the deadline, or the details of your running project, through the request form.

Can you write the AI and machine-learning parts of our proposal?

Yes, as a partner in the consortium. We write the methodology, work plan, deliverables and risk analysis for the AI/ML parts when we join the proposal and the project as a partner, and we deliver them if the project is funded. We do not write proposals as a standalone service.

Can you join a project that has already started?

Yes. We can join a running project that needs AI, machine-learning or data-analysis capacity, for example to take over the tasks of a departing partner. Before joining, we agree in writing on our tasks, deliverables, the remaining timeline and the budget for our part. Joining is usually done through a grant amendment.

What is your PIC number?

868170177.

Can you join as a subcontractor instead of a full partner?

When we write parts of the proposal, we join as a partner (beneficiary). In a running project we can join as a new beneficiary through a grant amendment or, where the grant allows, as a subcontractor.
